Kindergarten and first grade visited Our Mini Farm for a fall field trip. We had the best time playing, seeing and petting the animals, and especially the corn pit.









The Fab Five presented their research reports on Indian Tribes to a few loved ones this week. These reports were accompanied by scale models of the Indian's dwellings. Thank you for sharing Fab Five!

Kindergarten & 1st Grade recently created 3D pumpkins, in art, in preparation for fall.










Calvary Baptist Church will be partnering with the Chula Community Church this year for Thursday suppers and classes. Starting this Thursday, October 3, they will be meeting at the Chula Community Center for supper at 6:00pm. We hope to see everyone there!

Bobcat Parents, your student will be bringing home several forms in their folder this week. Including the menu/calendar for October, please note several fun things happening! A picture form for next Friday, October 4; a yearbook order form due in October 11, signing will be held October 11 at 2:45pm. Lastly, a form for our FREE Vision Screenings. This form only needs returned if you do NOT want your child to participate. Go Bobcats!!!!

Kindergarten & 1st grade recently created patriotic artwork in observance of 9/11











Our school will be partnering with the Missouri Dept of Health & Senior Services to offer FREE oral health reviews and two applications of fluoride varnish again this year. A permission slip will be coming home today. Please fill this out and return it to the school by, Friday, September 13. Once we have a final number, the Livingston County Health Center will notify us of the date this will be held. Keep smiling Bobcats!

We had a wonderful first day of school! Our Bobcats were surprised by a visitor this afternoon: KC Wolf! The students attended a KC Wolf assembly about Attitude, Behavior, and Character.


The Chula Action Team (C.A.T.) will be renting tables to be used in our gym for the City -Wide Garage sale on June 7-8. The tables & gym space will be rented for $5 each. The doors will be open on Thursday 4-7pm to set up and reopen on Friday at 4-7pm and Saturday at 7:45am-1:00pm. If you have leftovers items you do not want to take home, we will box them up and take them to the thrift store for you. Forms will be in the school office, 8am-3pm, Mon-Friday in May; and Mon-Thursday in June. If you have any questions, please call Miss Suzy at 660-639-3135.
