Student in kindergarten, third, and fourth grades celebrated Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading and making “Green Eggs and Ham.” The third and fourth graders had prepared activities to do with the kindergarteners and enjoyed being teachers for the morning.
Chula Bobcats in grades K-4 got to participate in a virtual author visit with author Judy Young! What a fun experience this was.

Tomorrow, the Chula Bobcats will take on the Bishop Hogan Eagles at Bishop Hogan. Bobcat players will need to be dressed and ready to leave at promptly 5:15. Games start at 6:00pm.

The Livingston County R-III School District has an opening for an elementary teacher and part time Art teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. A successful candidate must be certified in elementary education. And must be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with colleagues, analyze student data, and make necessary instructional interventions for student growth and demonstrate best practices.

Chula School has two Bobcats who were "Caught Being Good" this week. We would like to congratulate Silas Kennedy and Layla Bevelle.
Silas has been helping behind the scenes a lot lately. He helped with the CAT Club First Friday breakfast and has helped put down tables this week. Thank you Silas for helping around the school!
Layla has been such a helper lately. She stayed after library class and helped Mrs. Beck pick up!
Today we celebrated the @KansasCityChiefs with a tailgate...ice cream floats, sundaes, music and games! Here at Chula School we're hooting for a Chiefs Super Bowl win! Go Chiefs!
Reminder: Tomorrow we will celebrate "Red Friday" with a tailgate party at school for students and staff! Also, the OPT will host its annual Valentine's Day dance! PK-4th grade from 6:30-7:30, an OPT meeting from 7:30-8:00 and 5th -8th grade from 8:00-9:00! Come join us as we dance the night away!
3rd & 4th graders celebrated the 100th Day of School with a writing project about themselves at 100 years old! What cute pictures and stories!
Kindergarten is working on learning goals. Check out their Heartland Community project! The Heartland community comes with a school, a library, houses and even a Taco Bell and McDonalds! These students thought of everything!
